Breaking down the legal news of the day...

Some news! I've recently joined the Law & Crime Trial Network as a guest host. Law & Crime is produced by ABC legal analyst Dan Abrams' media company. Over the years as I've done general assignment reporting all across the NYC Metropolitan area and Phoenix, I've always enjoyed covering legal stories: whether its a gripping trial, like that of the three men accused of killing a young Brooklyn police officer and then fleeing to the woods of New Jersey, or the stories behind impactful legislation like Arizona's controversial SB1070 immigration law.

As a guest host for L&C I'll be able to carry forward that passion, as I anchor coverage of live high-profile trials across the country, and break down legal hot topics and controversies.

I got off to a big start, covering the incredibly compelling sentencing hearing of disgraced MSU and USA Gymnastics doctor Larry Nassar. Wow. From the incredibly brave victims, to Judge Rosemarie Aquilina who called Nassar out for his hypocrisy and gall, there were truly courtroom fireworks!
